Davos is a mountain village in the Swiss Alps and the highest city in Europe at 1.560 m. Since 1853 it is also known as a famous climatic spa, even Thomas Mann mentioned Davos in his novel „The Magic Mountain“. Davos is home to the Kirchner Museum, as E. L. Kirchner lived there between 1917 and 1938. In the museum one can find an extensive collection of his artwork, many of them painted in Davos and surroundings.
Afterwards end your day in the authentic coffee house „Kaffee Klatsch“ right on the Promenade. They serve about 30 different coffee specialities and delicious homemade cakes in a nice atmosphere.

Ich schreibe und ich reise. Mal bin ich ganz weit weg, mal erkunde ich meine Stadt oder nur meinen Block, manchmal reise ich durch mein Zimmer.
