On my morningstroll through Valldemossa I did some sketching. First I passed by at the Nils Burwitz exhibition. Fascinated by his huge watercolour paintings, I got out my paints and did some doorways. This is the doorway of the „Iglesia Parroquial de San Bartolome“, constructed in the XIII century. Again Showtime in Calas de Mallorca. This time Graham came his way to sing some English oldies. He must be some 65 years old, but sings three hours without a break, not getting tired of satisfying more and more song requests. The audience having a jug of Sangria. Another night in Calas de Mallorca. I got trapped in a time machine… The one and only Elvis Presely. Only two of The Beatles left. Ringo Starr had to switch to the lead guitar, Paul as always playing the bass guitar.

Beach-Noon
Today afternoon we wento to the beach in Port des Canonge. A narrrow road leads to a kind of hidden urbanization wich extends into a lovely pebble-beach. Calas de Mallorca
Calas de Mallorca is a typical holiday-village. Bars, shops, pubs and supermarkets only open in the summer month. It is overload with tourists everywhere you step. Touristenblicke
Die Touristen bleiben auf der Serpentinenstrasse immer direkt hinter der Kurve mit ihrem Auto stehen. Zücken schnell die Kamera und schiessen ein (verschwommenes?) Foto. Wenn sie doch nur wüssten, dass man zu den schönsten Ausblicken auch zu Fuss hinkommt. Dort kann man dann auch viel länger verweilen, um die schöne Sicht in Ruhe zu geniessen

Wochenende
Am späten Nachmittag in der Bar Sa Feixina habe ich einige Kinder beim Tischtennisspielen gezeichnet. Zwischendurch habe ich immer wieder von den leckeren Tapas genascht und war deswegen überrascht, als auf einmal alle Tischtennisspieler weg waren. I went to Sóller with Ladina today. The city of Sóller is situaded in a valley, surrounded by beautiful orange groves. It is unique in its landscape and has a wounderful urban centre with narrow streets and ancient buildings. Ich schreibe und ich reise. Mal bin ich ganz weit weg, mal erkunde ich meine Stadt oder nur meinen Block, manchmal reise ich durch mein Zimmer.
